Urgent same day appointments

Morning on the day appointments can be requested via our GP online system, throughout the day and are reviewed between the hours of 7:30am to 11am by the Duty Doctor to see if an appointment is necessary. Any requests put through after this will be reviewed on the following working day. If you need help with your request, you can contact the surgery or come in from 8:30am.

Demand for on-the-day appointments is high. Our GP online system helps us give you the best appointment for your problem and enables us to help more patients in the day.

  • Another local GP practices
  • Another local NHS service - such as a General Practice Hub

What type of appointments will be available?

Evening appointments between 6:30pm to 8pm Monday to Friday, will be offered by a practice in your local area. These appointments will be offered by a range of clinical professionals. Some practices in your local area may offer early morning appointments.

On Saturdays, a clinical professional will be available between 8am to 12pm at a practice in your local area (times may vary).

On Sundays and Bank Holidays a GP will be available between 9am to 12:30pm at a hub in Tonbridge or Maidstone.

Telephone surgery

We offer telephone surgery for patients who need to consult their GP without a face-to-face visit. This includes advice on simple illnesses, test results, medication queries, and prescription renewals. Our practice nurses can also provide telephone advice. To book, call the surgery and request a telephone assessment slot, similar to booking a routine appointment.

Please remember to leave your contact number when booking, including mobile numbers. There may be slight delays if morning surgeries run late, so we appreciate your patience.

Receptionists

Our Receptionists will help you make the best use of the services whether calling by telephone or visiting the Surgery. Please remember that they have a difficult job to do and are working under protocols laid down by the doctors and the practice manager.  When telephoning to make an appointment the receptionist may ask for a few details. They have been trained to make these enquiries so that they can help you in the most appropriate way.
